Reasons to adopt a black cat!
Shelters all across the world report that their resident black cats get the short end of the stick when it comes to adoption rates and it’s certainly true in France. Whether potential adopters subconsciously buy into the stigma of black cats being bad luck, or are more drawn to cats with distinctive colourings or patterns, it does a great disservice to these overlooked beauties. A black cat can make a great mutually-beneficial addition to your family.
The myth that black cats are bad luck is outdated and just plain silly. In fact, the amount of love they’ll give you will make you feel like the luckiest person alive.
We all know that love comes from an emotional connection, not the colour of one’s hair. Imagine how dull your life would be if you never allowed yourself to love human brunettes?! Opening your heart to a black cat could provide you with one of the most loving friendships of your life.
Just like every other cat, black cats just want to be loved and cared for. They just want a chance.
Here are our black cats available for adoption: Wicca, Lucie, Harper and Harvey.
All are sterilised (except Lucie, who is too young), vaccinated and de-parasited and based in either 24400 Eglise Neuve D’Issac or Eymet (Lucie).
